New Roots

What you can see here is a root system of a tree which used to grow on a fallen tree trunk. Now, the fallen trunk is decomposed and washed away by numerous floods. Thank to the fallen tree, the roots could grow strong into pebble beach of Donau river. You can see this phenomenon in untouched forests whre logging is forbidden.
