Earthworms in Flooded Meadows
Flooded meadows are a grateful motive for my photography. They allow me to find interesting foregrounds and capture interesting trees with reflections in the water. It was still dark when I arrived at this place early in the morning. Only later did I notice that there were dozens of huge earthworms on the grass and leaves in the water. At first I was a little scared of them, they looked like they were dead. But as soon as the day dawned more and more, it could be seen that they were alive enough. I tried to take pictures of them, but it was not at all one-shot because of their constant movement. Shot on a Panasonic S5 with a Laowa 10-18mm on 10mm lens, composed of 6 photos to achieve a large plane of focus. Shot handheld a few centimeters above the water, ISO 320, aperture f8, time 1/15 of a second. Poodří nature reservation, Czech Republic, 2024.
